Amazing a few flurry’s of snow and Stansted airport turns into a refugee camp with people sleeping overnight on the floor how would we cope if it was like Canada or Scandinavia there was 4 foot of snow in Canada and their planes flew !

Your right Spurs. It’s a bloody shambles down there. My thought is that airportshave a certain business model so don’t invest in winter contingency planning. Hate to say this - because I am a passenger who gotta mega delay 3 weeks ago. But for the once / twice a year we get a bit of snow they would probably take bad pr on the chin than invest in snow plows and deicing equipment ?
