Title: Heating and Aircon
Post by: LyndaS on December 11, 2016, 23:44.
Hi, we are moving to Gran Alacant in February into a house with no heating or Aircon. Would like to install both Asap. we're looking for recommendations as to whether to install combined units or totally separate systems and also for someone who can carry out the work for us. any help would be appreciated.

Inverter aircon is a very efficient way to heat your house, do a search on here for Eric Stein, he's your man.

Regards all

Unfortunately, due to injury, Eris is no longer installing aircon - great shame as he was a top man  :(

Is the no longer installing aircon a temporary or permanent thing. I know Eric had an operation this year and told me that he would not be starting up again until March. Has this now turned into a closure of his business?.

Permanent I am afraid.......the operation was not a success.

Now that Eric is no longer in business does anybody have recommendations to supply and fit a decent make of aircon unit please. This will be a replacement unit
I see from the monthly magazine that  Euronics advertise such units, has anybody used them?

I have used Euronics several times for aircon units. Always first class service. I bought Panasonic inverters and have never had problems. PM me if you wish.

I had arranged for Eric to fit a replacement unit when I arrive next week. Several emails later it transpires he has now had a further operation on his shoulder and I quote him his business is now permanently closed.

Purchased a Panasonic from Euronics on Monday, fitted by Gaston who runs Diginova on Tuesday, lovely and warm last night, very good job
Probably paid a bit over the top but it's good o know the follow up service, if needed, will be there

We need to get one of ours replaced soon, could you advise what the cost of unit from Euronics was and fitting cost?

I'd recommend ClimaZone without question! Fluent in English and Spanish and excellent workmanship.

Euronics price for a Panasonic 12000 btu was around 590 and the fitting 200
I have no doubt you could get cheaper but in my 12 years in the house have been let down by two outfits doing aircon, that's why I use Euronics for all my electrical appliances. They turn up on time, speak English and do not let you down

Climazone installed mine 11 years ago and they are still working well - havent needed a re-gas yet and only had a fan motor fail, which Eric fixed easily.

If a company is still trading 11 years on they must be pretty reliable nad good value for money

Well neither Robin Hood (yes

it was them) nor Eric are around any more, hence Euronics who Ihope will be there for a few years more
