I would suggest that the word "horror" is inappropriate.

Maybe hot , scorchio , melting , roasting .................

It all depends on what weather forecaster you use, the one I use said it would be 38c one day, then the day before it changed it to 30c, this year has been a lot cooler than 2015 which was 35c and more for July and August. Maybe September will be hotter.

The weather when we were down back in May was very lacklustre. Hoping for something better in a few weeks when we are next down.
