Title: Arenales Hotel Fined

An interesting article (may need translating) relating to the refurbished hotel in Arenales, fined 80,000 Euros along with costs of a making legal changes will make it an expensive project:

Thanks Maricia, been wondering what was happening with the hotel, according to the article they are going to argue about the fine and would even consider abandoning the project. I sincerely hope this doesnt happen, it was an eyesore and a danger before but if they absndoned it now it would be much worse.  Sounds like they needed to replace some of what had been taken down with safer anti seismic construction, i would have thought the officials would have been pleased with that, its a farce and must be affecting those lovely businesses in the square who were looking forward to seeing the project completed.  I hope they get it sorted out and the hotel completed and opened soon.
