Try Frank at FWR Eurocars, he might have something and he comes highly recommended.

I think you may have to adjust your expectations re price...they just don't come that cheap here :( (But then again there's no rust :))

I'm with gaveteran on this - at €500 to €600 in Spain the cars are pretty much had it. I have never seen one at that price I wouldn't be at a scrap yard in the uk

kh511, a few weeks ago someone had a Twingo on here for sale for less than a €1,000
There not bad little motors, fairly basic and easy to work on, the lacquer on the paint tends to disintegrate in the Spanish sun, but so what!!
Might be worth seeing if it's still for sale

Just a thought, Steve, the mobile mechanic, he has an advert in the GA Advertiser, you'll normally see his van down at the commercial centre at lunch time might be worth giving a call
If any of his customers are thinking of selling their cars he may well know
He might also appraise a car you are looking at for a well spent €20 or €30.

You have probably done your homework on the car buying process in Spain, but this link might be useful:-

http://www.idealspain.com/pages/information/buycar.asp

Remember there will be further costs involved (taxes etc.) other than the actual price you pay for the vehicle. Also you must be sure that there are no outstanding costs against the vehicle because they will transfer along with ownership and become your responsibility.

Good Luck
