14 years ago someone recommended a guy called robin hood i kid you not, the grills looked fab but sadly rusted after 5 years. Incidentally most grills are secured to the walls with high tensile security bolts, a neighbour once got locked out of there house and duly removed the grille in 5 minutes with just 1 basic tool and swiftly lifted out the locked window unit out thus gaining entry to the house.

We have a round table on our terraza with a hole in the centre for a parasol. The three legs are locked together at about 1/3rd height with a tripod style piece of metal in the centre of which is a further hole for said parasol to pass through.
We decided to buy a new parasol - then discovered that the base of same was too tall and wide to pass through said lower hole. Two choices - back to the shop in the hope of finding a base that would fit, or make the hole bigger.
Off to Mateu with the tripod I went - all sorted on the spot in about half an hour, old centre cut out, new 'hole' created by slicing off 1/4 inch from a length of suitable diameter steel pipe, welding it in, buffing and priming and away - done for 15 euros.
Great chat with the engineer who did it, turns out he has a son and daughter working in London.
As John says, a great little company to have on our doorstep.
Michael.
BTW, they don't speak English so take someone with you if you don't speak Spanish.
