The article says that as people work in air conditioned offices the siesta is redundant but their must be a bigger proportion who don't, say road workers, imagine doing manual labour outside at 3:00 p.m. in August
-
Last august I was sweating like a Fat Lad at 3am never mind 3pm ( and all I was doing wad sitting drinking beer )
-
I got covered in sweat and had to lie down after grating cheese.
-
Probably explains why so many firms close for August
-
Don't knock the Siesta, it empties our pool and the beach and makes shopping in Lidl much easier, I think they should extend it.
