Buses to Alicante and Santa Pola

We have some friends coming over who don't want to hire a car but want to get Bus to Alicante and Santa Pola. They will be down near Carabassi bars, can anyone advise where it's best to get the buses , is the stop down by the turn off to Santa Pola coast road?

Also if facing arenales is the stop on right hand side for Alicante and other side fro Santa Pola?

Thats where I get them, buses on the right hand side, as walking down, the coast side for Alicante
Buses on the "land side" for Santa Pola

I'm carless atm. Do all Santa Pola and Alicante buses pass the school or only some of them?

From memory Tony only the local bus which runs about every 20 mins from GA centre does the loop past the school.

But I assume you can get local bus to GA centre and then get other buses from there?

If your down near the carabassi the easiest way as john says, walk to the main road by the beach at the clot. All buses for both directions go past these stops no need to go to GA centre. Dont forget to buy multi ticket 10 journeys for 12 euros.

I did get a bus to Santa Pola on Saturday that picked up at the school. No3 I think
