New bar/cafe recently opened on Avenida Escandanavia called Amigos.

Doing Spanish breakfasts, baguettes, salads and burgers plus coffees, drinks etc. Very friendly + excellent coffee! Formal inauguration night tomorrow at 6pm - worth a visit if you are up that way  8)

Maritaos? Is that the one with the little wooden terrace next to Raffles/Sal y Sol/Piano Bar? haha. If that's the one we should have a game of "what was it before". It was certainly a Mexican "Cantina Guanajua". Is this the place? Where's "San Francisco" then? Is that the Piano Bar? It gets very confusing when every business changes every eighteen months!

Hi Gavetran
Raffles went to Simons bar which was next to the mexican which is now a
tapas bar called La Tasco on saying that Amigos is not as far up as that.
it is in the next section of bars/resturants after websters etc,
just past fusions (which used to be dine in the dark)
They do have a wooden terrace out side  San Fransicos is next to that
San Fransicos is typically spainish but could definatly recommend it if you
want something different I hope this helps.

Yes - Welcome back John.

The first bar I ever went into in GA was Dick Turpins when John had it, seems a long time ago now.

Good look with the new venture !
