We have had a few visits on a Sunday for the carvery and always been very pleased.
Tonight we have had our 2nd Wednesday carvery.  What can I say?
Delicious 3 course meal, beautifully presented, professional but friendly service. Unbeatable value for money!

Our Experience:

- Choice of only two starters = Soup or Chicken Wings (maybe due to the time we went)
- Potatoes dry/hard - Neighbours said this was because we went around 3pm (food should the same quality at all times)

Doesn't sound like you had a good experience Maricia.  Did you speak to the owner or manager about it before you left?
Restaurants usually say  'If you enjoyed your meal please tell others.  If you didn't, please tell us'.  This then gives them a chance to address any problems.

Hi Masmu,

I didn't speak to the manager / owner as he was sat outside with the chef smoking and as a non-smoker the smell would have certainly put me off completely.

We went for Sunday lunch and I agree the potatoes were terrible.  Never again unless it improves.  I believe the manager has been told on numerous occasions

My experience also unfortunately. Excellent service, and the meat, veg, sauces and gravy were all very good, as were the starters and dessert! Far exceeding my expectations. The potatoes however left much to be desired. In fact (at 2pm) were, sadly, inedible. The looked nice though, which arguably made it worse! haha
