Drove up to Denia this morning and the AP7 between Alicante and Denis is now free , the toll booth barriers are permanently up and messages sayin don't stop. Think it became free on the first of January

Thanks Kevin - I take it the toll charge is still in place between El Campello and Finnestrat / Benidorm ?

No free all the way, we came off at Denia and the barriers were up, everyone sailing through.

Can't ever imagine that say the Dartford crossing in the UK would be made free, got to admire the Spanish government .

It was supposed to be when the tolls had finished paying for it , which must have been years ago

They’ve taken the tolls off the Severn crossing from Wales to England.

I'd forgotten about the removal of toll charges to cross the Severn, perhaps they will do the same for the Dartford crossing one day, we can live in hope.
