Whatsapping this has saved me a lot of time and made friends laugh - and yes I have given some money to charity and yes I have sent cards to close family so as to not let the tradition totally die out

‘I’ve decided this year, instead of sending Christmas cards I’m going to save the environment and my time and spend the money on GIN instead!Xxx Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year :) x’

Merry Xmas to all.
Last night I was led astray and tried some Tanqueray Seville gin and it went down lovely. I think they do a raspberry one as well so might try that tonight.
We’ve also cut down hugely on cards, where we would send 5 cards into a house with each person getting a card, this year just the one to all. Similar WhatsApp message but not gin related. Our mantelpiece now holds all our cards, I remember years of old with string everywhere we had so many to display.
