Water Damage
« on: March 31, 2017, 18:10. »
Our house in GA has had water come through roof and under front door, given that the bottom of the door is 19" above the road, we were told at an agm years ago that the community insurance covers flooding but now we are told it doesn't, any advice welcome.

Sorry to hear about this Kevin, much damage?
From my understanding of the matter, gleaned from five years sat on the management board of our community, you're up the proverbial creek without a paddle as far as community insurance is concerned, unless your community has much more comprehensive cover than ours.
Won't your own insurance cover the internal damage?

Regards all
