Newsagent and currency exchange

There was a shop opposite the Medical Centre selling magazines and newspapers as well as currency. Does anyone know if it is still open in winter.

It was giving a reasonably good exchange rate when last we were in Gran Alacant

They closed on the 19th December for holidays. I'm not sure if it was for 3 or 4 weeks.

If you want to change money the same owners have the 7Tabac shop in Santa Pola port. There is an exchange in there.
