iPhone repairs
« on: November 21, 2016, 23:01. »
Our daughter in law, in GA this week,  just dropped her iPhone down the loo! It has dried out but not working, needs looked at - anyone any experience of Apple shops/ tech repairs in the Alicante/Santa Pola/Elche area?

TIA,

Michael.

I think it's knackered they don't usually survive that .  Have you got travel insurance?

They're pretty good in there and put a new battery in my iPad and fixed my iPhone 4, much cheaper than UK.

Amazingly, it has started to work again. Not very well, but bit by bit more functions are coming back on. She is back home now and is taking it in to see if all her photos can be recovered from it.

Hi Spurs, that is pretty much what she did do, seems to have helped a lot.
