BBQ
« on: July 24, 2015, 12:32. »
My BBQ has cracked on the big stone slab where the charcoal is burned ( probably from excess heat)
The BBQ is the standard design chimney style.
Apart from that, it is fine.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a replacement slab or do I need to get a completely new BBQ?
Any suggestions of where to buy either a replacement slab or a new charcoal BBQ

Thanks,
Brandon

I obtained one with the slab in two pieces. Used a quick drying cement to join them together and rested the slab on bricks placed on the undersectin of the BBQ.
Found a paving slab in a skip that almost fitted the inside of the BBQ and just light the charcoal on that.
Seems to work well and has proved durable
