Only a 30 minute drive away.
Worth going to see the magnificent topiary in the town square
A very vibrant street market takes place every Saturday, if you want some plants for your garden there is half a street of stalls with some very healthy plants on offer

We went this morning, John.  Didn't see you, but as you say, worth the visit.
For everyone else's benefit, the plus for me is the way it's a street market, but manages to condense itself to every street in a comparatively small area.
The casino is a real step back in time to 20's - 30's grandeur which is sadly falling into decay.
Nice coffee though

Doesn't stop there. The trees in the square in San Fulgencio are trimmed in exactly the same way.
