Motorhomes on the beach
« on: April 08, 2024, 14:55. »
In Gran Alacant at the moment and I’m completely stunned by the amount of motorhomes along the beach road. They seem to be parked in every available space. Does anyone know if this will continue through the summer? Where on earth will the thousands of cars all park if the spaces are all taken by motorhomes??!!

We've noticed that the hundreds of motor homes parked on the seafront seem to go elsewhere in the summer. I've often wondered ehst they do with toilet waste though and where do they fill up with water ?

That same point is on my mind as some of the particularly large homes dont seem to move for months. They aren't storing up their grey water / toilet waste. So what do they do ?  Perhaps there is someone on here who actually knows. I genuinely dont know how the local council tolerate it. They (the council) are red hot on licencing and permits for just about everything else in most walks of life but not this.

I notice that the project down at Arenals (opposite the Milla cafe on the island) has stalled with no work taking place for years now. That was supposed to be an official place on multi levels where motor homes could be parked up
