Baby food & nappies ! Does anyone know are these readily available in supermarkets as someone visiting soon is asking us?

Nappies  are widely available in supermarkets and Pharmacia, for baby milk, it depends on what kind, for example…….
Aptamil stage 1 is called Milupa inicio. Aptamil follow on is Milupa continuacion. Green tub with red lid. Make sure you keep a UK scoop as the Spanish ones are metric.

Yes jars are available at Supermarkets, written in Spanish of course,
Quicksave on Avd, Escandinavia would probably stock some English ones too.
If you can travel to an Iceland Store you should get what you need there.

I'm worried there might have been a mix up. Are you sure your friends are not going to Chad or Afghanistan? Something just doesn't seem right, because if I understand you plainly, they just asked you if Spain has supermarkets that sell nappies?

Yes they’ve not been before & I wasn’t sure if nappies were classed as medical like paracetamol etc & only available at chemists unlike UK when various medical products are available in supermarkets
