If you were to choose 3 places to visit in Europe (either places you have been to  already or intend to ) where would they be ?

My top 3

1) Rome (going soon)

2)Barcelona (been and loved it)

3)Iceland (Been and loved it)

In no particular order,
1) In the UK, Bowness on Windermere, Lake District.
2) Llafranc. Fantastic village on the Costa Brava, simply stunning.
3) Kraków in Poland.

Well I can honestly say that Roma has not disappointed one bit.  What an amazing city it is. It certainly goes right to the top of my list. Most of the monuments and top sights are within walking distance and I even went running on the banks of the Tiber. Fabulous place !

I've been before, but better half hasn't.  God bless the cheapo airlines, we're off for a week in October.  Direct flights to & from Alicante.
Both looking forward to it.
Where's your next venture, Joe?

Alzheimer's!
What I was going to say was how difficult. It is to choose only 3 places.  Can't do it, as different places have different reasons to appeal.

My next venture this afternoon is a run on the pathway that leads to Santa pola so you can guess where I am now :-)
