Hi ,just wondering any of you doing long term rentals for UK nationals ,do you draw up the rental contract in English or does it have to be in Spanish or both and also how long should it run for at a time i.e 6 months ,12 months, with any particularly important stipulations ? any info much appreciated

Can only speak from 10 year old experience, when we bought we allowed the seller to stay on until his new place in the Life Resort was ready, agreement was in both English and Spanish. As we were both English speakers the Spanish bit was not needed by us but was necessary for legal reasons as agreement was under Spanish law. Short term let for 11 months max. Hope this helps but rules may have changed.

We used James at OPI for our long term rentals who did us a grand job.

Sorry Bramleylad it's so long ago I can't remember. Why not go and have a chat with them for up to date information?
