Sat Nav on your Smart Phone
« on: July 20, 2015, 21:04. »
Martins Money Saving Tips had a recomendation on last weeks update for Navmii, a free of charge Sat Nav.

Its free of charge to download, Ive used it three times and its very very good...........Ive subsequently paid the grand sum of £1.49 to remove pop up adverts.

They also do a Spanish version which I will be downloading before our next visit, saves packing the sat nav ;-)

Using the sat nav doesnt use any of your data allowance, its FOC.

Regards all

John

I have the Spanish version and it seems to work quite well, although it spanks your battery power.

I invested in a battery charger that plugs into your lighter socket. Very useful.

I noticed that yesterday, the phone was about 80% charged, we used the sat nav function with the phone plugged into charge, after an hours drive up to Helmsley it was down to 70%
Must have the charger in the car!!
