I've driven past the site countless times but I've never seen a photograph of it when it was open.

As attached.

Regards all

John

Good find John (Hope you are well BTW)

I am amazed that site hasn't been developed somehow. Its a real eyesore and must really be an huge annoyance for people that overlook it. It was completely derelict when we first came over in 2006 - I saw some new gates go on 10 years ago in a vain attempt to keep the kids out - it must be dangerous - but nothing since.

I wonder what the backstory to all this is ....

Many thanks Beachlife.

Like John says in the last 23 years I've also driven past it many times on the back road to GA and never even realised what it was.
If you look at Google Maps the arch in the bottom left of the photo is still there on the corner of Tabarca/ Armada Español.

Weird they've named a street after the Spanish Armada - you'd have thought they'd have wanted to forget about Drake, 1588 and all that.
