Amazon deliveries
« on: July 20, 2023, 09:18. »
We live Monte y Mar, and have always had problems with deliveries. So we've used local pickup points for a while now.
Our nearest is in the GA centre, and they now say we must pay 1€ each visit. Also they say we do not have our name on the packet, so
they have to open the packet each time (i.e only their name is on the packet).
Does anyone else have this problem, or better still a convenient workaround?

Cheers

I have my phone number on the Amazon account, and when a new driver starts (they rotate fairly frequently) they usually ring me, and I guide them to the house. They readily accept whatsapp maps too. I now have "Amazon 1" to "Amazon 22" in my phone haha. I also give them a cold Coke in Summer, which seems to boost their memory of where I live significantly. Spain should adopt What Three Words nationwide in my opinion, since, sad to say, the addressing system here is absolutely useless. [https://what3words.com/mansions.womanly.samosa]

we use quicksave for the last 2 years excellent service cost 50 euros per year no limit or you can pay 1euro per packet if not. they will keep no problem and also the nice lady gives you a ring when it is there
