Hi can anyone recommend anyone to do a headlight polish and clean on our car please

Assuming your referring to the opaque lens cover, Steve from SJ autos does this frequently as its an mot failure, alternatively you can buy the kit off ebay/amazon and do it yourself.

Try Steve at SJ Auto's, Mobile mechanic (he usually has an advert in the GAA). I know he does what you require and would recommend him unreservedly.

I did mine with toothpaste and it was a dismal failure, they were still cloudy but just smelled of mint.
You can buy the kit from ebay but I bought mine from Carrefour in Alicante (about 15 euros). It takes about half an hour per light and is very simple. You do need the sealer wipe which comes with the kit to give clear finish. I've done my headlights three times each.
