Hi all,

An email in today from Hirecarsinspain.com advising that our favourite hire car refuelling spot beside the airport has now closed down. Nearest from GA direction will be in El Altet or of course there is the Repsol station before joining the N332.

Yes it is due to the widening work going on on the road by the airport.

Although it's some time since I hired a car from the airport I always filled up at the GA Repsol - the fuel guage still showed full at the handover but I had the smug satisfaction of knowing that it wasn't. A bit childish I suppose.

I wonder what the refuel charge will be now for the hire car companies - perhaps they will use the LowCost at the GA as the price benchmark!!
