We have booked a Ryanair flight to Newcastle that departs 0650. Will not be doing that again.
Can anybody advise which reliable taxi firm we pick up from GA at about 0500 please

An illegal one with an extra drink thrown in, or a legal one that won't turn up.... take your pick ;)

Definitely would go illegal route that time of day been let down by so called professional ones in the past I would book an illegal but a lot earlier than that gives you time to make a back up plan if they don’t show up

a lot of 'illegal' taxis wont pick up now really early as the police seem to be around and checking more early in the mornings

I’d book a hire car for a day or two.....it’ll guarantee you’ll get to the airport stress free and on time, I’ve just chucked in dates for a two day hire later this month.
Obviously you’ll need to look at the small to calculate the full price.

Regards all

John

PS Failing that I’d book another flight!!
