Hi all,
I'm not very good at reading timetables: Am I right, that when I want to travel from Arenales to the commercial centre (Mercadona, Lidl) and back to do some shopping, I would have to leave at 9:20 to take a bus back at 14:10 or 15:10?
They only say 'Arenales' and 'Gran Alacant'. But there's two stops in Arenales and between 'Gran Alacant' and the commercial centre it's another 5 to 10 minutes. Does the bus even stop at the commercial centre and does it take the route along the beach to Santa Pola?
(By the way, there's a timetable at the bus stop in Arenales, at first I thought 'fine', better than the timetable on the net, only to find out that it's outdated.)
Is this definitely the only line between passing Gran Alacant and Arenales?
I have used the Mercadona delivery service, it's a good idea, but there are some items I'd prefer to buy at Lidl and Euronics.
How about taxi fares? From airport to Arenales I paid 15 Euros (Radio Taxi Elche). If it's the same, I don't think that I want to invest 30 Euros for shopping around. One-way bus, back with taxi?
Any ideas are welcome! Cheers, Monika
