Taxi Strike causing chaos around Alicante airport

Any update on this. My daughter and her boyfriend have just landed at Alicante Airport and we’re planning to get a taxi to our flat in Gran Alacant. Hopefully they won’t be stick there.

No taxis at all. My daughter is currently trying to get a bus to Alicante and then from Alicante to Gran Alacant. Nightmare!
