Grill Flavour has gone and in its place is a Mexican restaurant, El Texicano. I'm sure it the same as the one as Carabassi Strip.

As far as I know the owner of Grill Flavour owns El Texicano, I guess now he's seen the markup one can achieve on the slops that passes for Mexican cuisine he's re-branded the other one! Smart fella :)

We like texicano and mexican food but can see that whilst slops might be a bit harsh, a lot of tex mex can be made with cheaper ingredients.

4 of us had a superb meal last night  8) The restaurant (and the rest of the Commercial Centre) was heaving! Really nice to see so many people out and about!  8)

We were also at the centre last night and it was heaving, what surprises me is that the eateries that are unable to stay open all year due to lack of customers are rammed in the summer season.

You can change the Name, but if you still have the same Value for money type food, then you will not be long before you are back to square one. ;)

I think the words great food and the Shirley Bassey in the same sentence is slightly inaccurate.

A few beers starting off in Oceans and working down the bars, followed by Mexican downstairs is good enough for me. Every time have eaten there has been good food. For the price good value

She's probably a better singer than chef that's for sure.
