There are quite a few drivers going past the GA turn off on the 332 and then taking the first right at the top of the hill, it's a very small road, doing a u turn and then taking a left back onto the 332

Ok when it's quiet, might be a wait at busy times

Compared to traffic volumes and queues in the UK the "official" detour is still a joy

Once you get on to the N332 from the airport the detour is sign posted with yellow signs..

Once through the tunnel you take the first slip road sign posted El Altet Sud and go around the roundabout till you see the yellow Gran Alacant sign. From there there are more 'Gran Alacant' signs to lead you through to Los Arenalas.

The lady on her chair at the roundabout must have thought business was really picking up when this first happened!

The signs do run out in Arenales, so unless you are absolutely sure of where you are going, the best way is to carry on on the N332 to Santa Pola (JM Palace exit), go to the roundabout, turn round and come back on the N332 to Gran Alacant.

As far as I could see there was no work occurring today. One wonders whether they've also got the Sunday off, I find that simply incredible considering the disruption! Infuriating.

I'm not annoyed about the work being done, of course it has to be done. I'm annoyed that they suspended the work for the weekend. Is that not abundantly clear in my comment?
