Good hairdresser needed

We have had some very unfortunate experiences with hairdressers in Santa Pola,  not necessarily bad cuts or colours, but not what we thought we'd asked for.  My basic Spanish is probably part of the problem.  I've got short hair and I think I ask for just a little shorter (a trim) but I it turns out I may be asking for just a little short hair cut, so I always leave with a short back and sides.  Not a good look! 
Also encountered 'I know what's best for you, although it's not what you've asked for' which to be fair seems to be an international hairdressers trait.
Any recommendations for English or English speaking hairdressers in Santa Pola or Gran Alicante will be most welcome!

The girl in ke wapas in GA speaks very good English and has worked in England. Never a problem for me.

Mother and daughter who have lots of English customers and speak English perfectly.

Hi,  I can second ke wapas we went when we were last out, gents cut and ladies cut and blow dry, very impressed will be going back when next out. Also a lot cheaper than UK.

Upper Gran Alacant. Mavi and Jeni in the shops etc of Sueño Azul and ka wapa back towards the post office roundabout on same side

I went to Ke Wapas today. Appointment at 5, done by 5.30 for €9.80 and am very pleased.  Will definitely use them again.
