Title: More misinformation
Post by: Alicante Holiday Villas on June 05, 2021, 16:11.
Unfortunately, the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain put out INCORRECT information yesterday 🤬 which has subsequently been shared all over social media 🙄 and has thrown people into a panic... Citizens Advice Bureau Spain have since apologised and have today posted the CORRECT information.... which is THERE IS NO CHANGE - UK CITIZENS CAN STILL ENTER SPAIN FOR NON ESSENTIAL TRAVEL (ie HOLIDAYS) WITH NO NEED FOR PCR TEST OR PROOF OF VACCINATION ON ARRIVAL!

However, you will have to spend shit loads of money on tests ( including a healthy tax cut to the U.K. government ) along with your quarantine period in order to return.

Lots of contradictory information around. I do see that EasyJet and Ryanair are saying as from Monday 7th you will require to have had both vaccinations or a negative PCR to enter Spain.

Agreed, but the point of the post was to clear up confusion for those wanting to enter.

I’ve never really understood why or what benefit people gain over deliberately and knowingly spreading information that is not factually correct, if it’s an opinion then post it as such.

This does NOT apply to UK Nationals....unless they have previously travelled to a 'risk' country in the previous 14 days they can enter Spain without a PCR test or proof of vaccination....here is the link on the UK Government website. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements
