As a TSB member I am really worried they will ship the staff from our local "Sol" bank in GA to Newcastle!!

Did anyone see the program on Ch4 last night with Will Hutton about the selling off of British business. Rather disturbing.

I agree, it's something I've been worried about for years as I see housing, businesses, including what once were our nationalised industries, and other businesses, being sold off to foreign investors, and I even saw a news item about our local councils hosting an event to sell off council land which was attracting attention from overseas investors.  Selling England by the pound to quote a genesis song!!

If the rest of the world thinks we are such a good buy why are there not more British buy offs to keep things in house so to speak and protect our future incomes.
