Title: Inhalers in hand luggage
Post by: RachUK on September 06, 2017, 16:28.
My friend would like me to buy some ventolin on my trip next week but we are hand luggage only. Has anyone had experience at the airport about carrying it in your hand luggage?

Always carry ventolin and an additional inhaler . Never any problem just in handbag.

The Gov.uk site was a bit unclear. Maybe as it's prescribed in the UK it may be different to Spain where it isn't

It's 11 years since I retired from Pharmacy, then it was a POM (Prescription Only Medicine), I don't recall it changing to a P ( Pharmacy only medicine, can only be sold in a pharmacy with a pharmacist  on duty).

Regards all

Travelled with inhalers for years without a problem but like Cathy was asked to put in clear bag at Manchester.
