Ryanair Email

I've had a strange email from Ryanair, it comes from an address being info@care.ryanair.com which is a bit unusual, it gives me a ref and relates to a conversation I have supposed to have had with them regarding obtaining a refund or repayment for a cancelled flight which I know nothing about , I'm suspicious of the domain name part of the email address. Anyone else had an email like this?

It looks like a legit Ryanair e mail address click on the address on the EMail and it will tell you the real address . If it’s a scam it’s a clever one but I would forward it to Ryanair EMail is customerqueries@ryanair.com  as far as I can tell this is the only one they use externally. I would forward it to them asking if it is from them or a scam

Thanks Spurs, this email address doesn't following Ryanair's naming convention, about an hour ago I sent an email to it and got a system attendant message back saying the address was blacklisted, having forwarded it to customerqueries@ryanair.com I got an acknowledgement and a case number. Something is strange.

I’ve looked at it again Kevin I’m sure it’s a scam they have put the word care after the @ to get round Ryanair’s domain name .
It’s quite complex but the E Mail address is not part of the Ryanair domain but I’m pretty sure it’s close enough to fool a lot of people .

I also thought is was a scam but I have received emails from this email address in the past which were from Ryanair for sure. (I just put in my email search box and several came up)

Interesting I’ve tried it in mine but all Ryanair e mails I’ve had are from customer service not that account going back years .

I'm waiting for a response from Ryanair will let you all know, the thing that makes me suspicious is I've had no dialogue with them previous to this email, we will see.

Even if was a genuine email, i still wouldnt trust the content.

I sent an email to both those email addresses yesterday as I applied for a refund for a cancelled flight in May and am still waiting for the money.  I had a reply from support@ryanairsupport with a reference no. So watch this space.  I did try calling them but gave up after an hour of George Ezra in my ear!!

I've just started a 'clawback' with Santander against Ryanair. I'll be interesting which of us gets our money back first.

Hey B&W - have you heard about the (probably) empty - but genuine threat from Ryanair to ban people who clawback from future purchases ?
