I understand the Town Hall office in the health centre is now closed indefinitely.  A neighbour who needed to renew her padron was redirected to Santa Pola.  When she went there she was told she needed to make an appointment.  The first available was at the end of the month!  Once again GA is being treated as Santa Pola´s cash cow with nothing to show for it.

Can’t see many wanting to make an appointment in Santa pola just to sign up to padron! That office was very handy for getting documents stamped etc

The problem is that access to some services requires a recently issued padron, so it´s not something you can defer or disregard.

Due to corvid restrictions appointments are required for all gov offices and usually only 1 person is allowed to attend. A bit awkward if you need to take a translator.
