Pool maintenance

I have a 8m x 4m pool and wondered how often it needs to be maintained, is it weekly / monthly ??  and can anyone recommend someone, estimated costs. We are in the monte mar area.

We maintain our own pool. We just get the key holder that checks our place once a week to put in chlorine tablets as necessary. Have seen how one company maintains our neighbours pool. They have many times just opened the gate looked round it and walked away.

We just have the pumps running twice a day, made up a system that when the water drops it will start to fill the pool up.

I have a 10x5m pool. It is serviced every week throughout the year except for July and August when it is done twice a week. The pump is on twice a day.
