As anyone had any experience with there water heater not having enough to have multiple showers when family are staying.
Mine as been going cold before it should and not lasting too long.
I wondered if it needed descaling and how hard it is to do !!
Thanks in advance

Steve it’s a frequent issue if 4 of us want a shower in turn, being kind I go last and invariably mine is Luke warm at best. We had a new Ariston a couple of years back the biggest capacity you could fit in the space. It’s still just a big kettle on the wall as hot warm is drawn cold comes in. You can adjust the temperature on the heater so it’s hotter initially then mixes at the shower. As for scale GA is bad, when I looked inside our last heater it was a third full with scale thus reducing water capacity. There was a guy who cleaned boilers out charge about 50€ but can’t recall his name.

I use Patrick Walden  626770847.
He changes the anode and cleans ,descales the boiler, I use him every 2 years.
Excellent worker and value

I think I payed him 60 Euros in all, he then leaves a sticker with the next visit 3 years later. The last visit was 3 years ago.
I used to use Daniel but I am sure he finished.
