Dog Toilets unveiled in GA this morning.
Dog owners have a new, purpose built facility - a dedicated, air conditioned indoor toilet for their four-legged friends.
Whist the majority of dog owners are very responsible in picking up their dogs evacuations, there are some who sadly don't bother.
But in a bold move by a newly formed Santa Pola organisation, a purpose - built €95,000 indoor doggy toilet is due to be opened on the Commercial Centre Car Parkfor the convenience of dog owners.
With a specially grown turf lawn imported from Greenland and a number of hardy 'wee proof' trees for the dogs to relieve themselves on, the move is expected to keep our shopping centre even cleaner claim the promoters
For an entrance fee of only €5, owners will be able to take their pooches inside for their number ones (or two's) before a walk around the area. (There is a generous discount for two or more dogs).
Frequent visitors will be eligible to subscribe to the loyalty points scheme with rewards culminating in the free use of the dog bidet facilities and complimentary use of brushes and straighteners for long coated breeds.
Use of the Doggy Loo will save the 'dirty job' of bagging up the hounds deposits as a specially trained poop scooper will be on hand to clean up the poo parcels with the offer of warm wipes.
No expense has been spared in the luxury 'mutt hut' with a free wifi connection for owners to stream their dogs visit.
