Couldn't agree with you more - half the people that come on these shows are just tyre kickers who go all the way through the motions find something in their budget but then have to go and "think about it"

and your right about people not having a clue about location vs price.  Yes you can have a nice 3 bed detached villa with a pool for €150 k but you are going to be in the Campo with a long drive to the beach.

You must have heard it on these shows hundreds of times " now if we could have this house nearer the sea with sea views ......"    Well they cant !

On a different note - good friend of mine has upscaled here in GA selling his 2005 Coral for €95K (think he paid €135k for it) to a really nice Novamar (blue roofed) house overlooking the allotment area - bang on South facing with gated, covered parking. I think he's done ok (mind you taxes, solicitors and agents must have cost him over €10K) -

They looked at five houses around Mont y Mar and La Marina. Should be broadcast in about 3-4 months from filming
