Apparently the lady who used to own Casanovas, Chris? Is taking on very Shooters on 1st July.

Meant to say taking over Shooters!

Tony who is the partner of the existing owner of Shooters has a very busy and thriving building business which is expanding so maybe they thought a smaller bar was more manageable.

Trying to go upmarket apparently, had a Michael Buble tribute on Saturday but were already out so not sure how successful

The little benidorm strip also known as the Carrabassi has never been upmarket in my opinion, yes there have over 20 years been a few nice places, sadly nice doesnt pay the rent only chips and cheap beer seem to do well. Most bars are permanently for sale.
Maybe its time to run the "name that bar " quiz again, always a chuckle.

Not overly impressed with the strip this visit. A lot of the bar staff are a bit miserable for some reason. The lad in Shooters is a pleasant fellow but apart from him the bars are lacking a little sonething at the minute. Nice woman in Mileys on Wednesday night serving on.

Malones is still the best spot for a few beers early evening and i have noticed we have a new resident who has appeared and can certainly talk.
