A week or so ago drove to Orihuela, places that we saw of interest , the cathedral and almost next door in the Episcopal Palace the museum of Artes Sacro. A new creation since I last visited with very interesting exhibits including an original Velasquez painting.. the temptation of Thomas. The last time that I saw this work it was tucked away in a locked back room of another church.
We then found the Barrio of San Isidro where all the houses in this small barrio are painted with murals in commemoration of the famous Spanish poet Miguel Hernandez.
