cant except that it was filmed in Nov, there were plenty on beach and in the sea, the exchange rate @ the end shows 1.12 which is pretty similar to today. They must clear the pool & garden areas also the street area
people who live in glass houses should undress in the dark !

You may be right Ian but I was out there the beginning of November. It is very quiet on the development that time of year and the handful of people who are there sit up on their solariums or in their gardens.  We were on the beach in Santa Polo and it was lovely, although I don’t remember seeing anyone in the sea.

My diary records the weather up to the 10th November was very warm and sunny. We were on the beach almost daily up to the Blue Monkey closing around the 15th and certainly up to the 10th it was very busy down there and plenty in the sea. It stayed sunny and warmish after that but the wind turned cold.

If it was filmed in November it was in the first week because I'm sure I saw the Parres Centre in the background and they closed and dismantled the bar and surround earlier than the Blue Monkey. Also the exchange rate was around the 1.12 that week.

On a more recent note its been 23 deg today with an almost surreal warm wind. Shorts and vest on the solarium. Forecast a degree warmer tomorrow.

We watched it at lunchtime today.  Their preferred GA house was on Brisamar.

We get back to Spain this coming weekend.  This programme certainly whetted our appetite for some sun and warmth.
The weather here in our part of the UK has been wet, cold and miserable for weeks.

Hi Beachlife,

We had a day exactly the same on the 30th December just gone.

Yesterday was similar but a bit cloudier and windier; went for a walk along the front at Urbanove and the Moments restaurant was full to bursting. Most of the other bars that were open were also doing a brisk trade. Who needs the Canaries - minimum temperature last night was 14.3. It can't last but it's good whilst it's here.

I can't believe that the prices in GA bandied about on the programme have risen that much in eight months since I sold my place.

Beautiful in Santa Pola last evening by the yacht marina, even the senior señoras were carrying their winter coats. One or two people in the sea at Gran Playa at 5.00pm.

Have never eaten in el rey de las sardinas, looks a bit shabby from the back but will give it a try - do love a sardina
