An elderly neighbour has had a fall and needs one to get around

Hi John - yes think you can. There is a mobility hire shop now next to the Unide in the Life Resort - got everything there

Just to say the guy at the hire shop is brilliant
I nipped in yesterday morning, he didn’t have a Zimmer Frame but he had a walker. I told my friend who asked me to get it for her.
Unfortunately I didn’t note the opening hours and went back up to find it closed. I phoned the number on the door, the owner agreed to come back and open the shop at 6.30pm so I could get the walker.
That’s great service for a €15 deal.
The walkers great and fitting the bill perfectly
I love a story with a happy ending

Just read that the shop referred to above is sadly closing down and all their stock is being sold off....there are some bargains to be had

You would think that a shop providing such essential services would be able to somehow get a subsidised rent.  Don't know how, but wouldn't the health centre or Life Resort themselves have taken an interest?
