STOLEN PURSE
« on: May 17, 2017, 10:29. »
My 80 year old aunt was on holiday with us and popped into Gaby Market, went to till to pay and then realised her purse had been stolen while in the shop. She had all her holiday money with her, so as you can imagine was very shook up.
Please be extra vigilant.

There are some absolute low life around.  Hope your aunt is ok now, all the best to her.  Very many thanks for the warning. Jen

How awful.  Horrid people about. How they sleep at night is beyond me.

So sorry to hear about your aunt's purse being stolen.  The same happened to my husband last year in the same place, fortunately, he realised what was happening and they threw the money on the floor!  We asked the owners of the shop to see if it was caught on camera............... it was!!  We went to the police and reported it, they apparently went to the shop to view the theft, so maybe it would be a good idea to ask the shop owners?
DO report it though

We went back to shop, they weren't  bothered about it.
Went to police to report it, I told police it was a Gaby market Chinese shop and he said "ah yes Gaby Market Gran Alacant, as if it has happened before.
Aunty back in UK today so a sad end to her holiday
