Just been to mercadona and they have a notice up saying  they are closing at 3pm on the 28th January until the 27th February for a refit.

Whilst not a hyper market like the store in torrevieja the santa pola store is still a good size. Hopefully they have a non food section like elsewhere as carrefour do some great deals on electricals etc.
They dont like it up em !

There's quite a fair sized section in Eroski that does TVs,toasters, Fridges, Cookers etc.

Never buy any electrical items in Carrefour,nothing but trouble, Euronics for me every time.
