Has anyone been to the baths at Archena? We have been to fortunate but find it a bit small and wondered if Archena was better and costs, time to get there if anyone knows.

not bad, though personally prefer the thalassotherapy in Pinar in Murcia on the coast.
if you google archena, you will find the directions automatically. Stayed in Hotel León.
Archena is also located in Murcia province.

you can always turn up  :-)
but would suggest you book beforehand, also if you want to stay at the hotel a reservation is necessary.

Hi Chris and Jackie, did you try the Roman Spa at Fortuna, we loved that, all underground.......scented showers, quite a few small pools with differing waves and jets, saunas etc
A completely different experience

Regards all

John

Its on the same site, about 40 metres away from the entrance to the outside pool, it's not that well signed!!
Any of the members of staff will point you in the correct direction.

Tried the Thallasia spa & baths at Pinar and it was a great day out, we did all the lovely warm pools, the sauna, steam baths, cold pool plus various others, had a mud massage and finished off with a great 3 course lunch in the hotel restaurant. You can just go to the pools if you like but there are various options for treatments etc. :)
