We spent the day yesterday in the area around Javea, stunningly beautiful
Great little coves to discover with crystal clear sea
We had lunch in a part of Javea we hadn't visited before, the beach area about 2 km south of the port, gorgeous area with a great prom.
Had a superb lunch at La Boheme overlooking the sea, brilliant menu del dia at €16.50....worth going to if in the area

Regards all

Looks stunning John

Sue and I are going up the coast next week. Not quite as far, we are having a overnight in Albir.

We are staying in the Hotel Kaktus:

A bargain at only £70 for the two of us - perfect location and it looks like they have some great restaurants in the area (recommendations welcome)

Full report to follow !

That looks like a good hotel Rich, looking forward to the report.
Sad to say, we've never been to Albir, the first stop for us north of Benidorm is normally Altea, although I will be making a visit in the next week!!
Have a great break

I have for a long time now intended to take the train from Alicante to Denia, stopping off at a few places on the way, maybe staying over a night or two, your photos have advanced the idea a bit John!

Hi Gemstone, we packed in work 10 years ago at the tender ages of 52 and 53 as we both felt out work life balance was completely out of the window.
It was the best thing we ever did.
Enjoy yourself while you can is definitely our motto
