Hello all...
Ive just found some well priced flights into ALC, but its late night, after 11pm.
Do the car hire places stay open that late??
(might be a silly question but we have never flew that late)

Record have an additional charge c.€40 for pick ups after 11.00pm

General answer is yes but expect - as John says - to pay an "out of hours" surcharge, usually between 11pm and 6 or 7 am.

Ive just hired a car for a long weekend from record for €20.44 !!  Bloody bargain

Firefly Surcharge is from Midnight... so use them normally when have a later flight

puddy-woo, yes you have done well. Im looking to hire one for 3 week in aug. Normal cars are coming up at about £500 (good for 3 week in aug i think) However there is 6 of us, so 6/8 seaters almost double in price.

Yes i agree. I have one for 3 weeks in August coming out at over 600 euros.  I’m watching how that goes. Cld cancel and re book
